About us
SADI was founded to address the challenges facing rural communities, including food insecurity, poor soil fertility, limited agricultural knowledge, environmental degradation, unemployment, and inadequate access to quality seeds and farming resources. We work directly with farmers and communities through practical training, demonstration farms, school programs, and community outreach initiatives.
Through our farmer-centered approach, we equip communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to improve agricultural productivity, nutrition, environmental conservation, and sustainable livelihoods.Â
Our approach emphasizes practical learning and direct community engagement. We work closely with farmers, schools, youth groups, and community organizations through:

Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security
We train farmers and community members on climate-smart agricultural practices that protect the environment while improving productivity
Natural Resource Management and Environmental Conservation
We educate communities on the sustainable use and management of natural resources while promoting agroforestry systems that integrate trees with crops and livestock
School Agriculture and Youth Empowerment
We work with schools to establish productive gardens through 4K Clubs (Kuungana, Kufanya, Kusaidia Kenya)
Community Health and Nutrition
We implement community health programs that promote proper nutrition, sanitation, hygiene, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, and HIV/AIDS awareness
